Why I started Crossfit:
After graduating and concluding my division 1 college lacrosse career, I didn’t want to give up being an athlete. I was regularly going to the gym but I wanted something more. Starting Crossfit allowed me to express my athleticism again in a whole new domain. I was able to incorporate technique from my lacrosse career while also learning new concepts along the way. Even though I have a background in athletics, starting Crossfit has made me a more well rounded athlete and allowed me to push myself in ways that I never had before.

What I love about Crossfit DHP:
The competitive nature of Crossfit motivates you to be a better athlete, and having people around you that are competing for the same goal makes you want to work harder. Having an environment to push yourself and those around you makes the whole Crossfit community better. When one athlete works hard, other athletes will follow. In the end we are all making each other better athletes just by being at the gym together. Even though most of the time we aren’t competing as a “team”, l love the “team” atmosphere we have when we are at the gym together. DHP is so much more than just a gym, it’s a community, it’s a family, and it’s a second home for all of us. DHP is a haven to develop our greatest potential together.

What I want to accomplish as a coach:
I want to help people become better athletes and reach their goals. With my Crossfit experience, sports background, and knowledge of health and nutrition, athletics and health have always been a huge part of my life. Whether you are new to Crossfit or a seasoned athlete, I believe that there is always something you can improve upon and work to achieve next. I strive to help athletes master their goals and then move up and onward to new ones. I hope to be a motivational source to help our athletes make progress, and to help them appreciate all that they have and will accomplish by doing Crossfit.
